This image probably served as the "official" camp photograph for the Civilian Conservation Corp camp located near Big Bend in Letchworth Park. The Camp, officially known as SP 5 was located east of the Genesee near present cabin area E. In fact, the cabins were constructed by the CCC as one of their many projects in the Park. (The cabins can be seen in the left hand side of the photograph.)

The image was taken from Big Bend looking south. The Genesee River is seen to the right of the photograph.
