This image captures a peaceful late spring day at the Glen Iris. The fountain, delighting visitors since Mr. Letchworth's time is on the right, while the river gorge can be glimpse through the trees in front of the Glen Iris. The large tree in the center of the circular driveway is now gone. The stone step with "Glen Iris" near the center of the image is still there. See image 35 a close up of the step.
