This view was taken from the south lawn of the Glen Iris. In the distance, the Portage Bridge stands high above the Upper Falls. The structures on the flats below are farms that pre-date Mr. Letchworth's arrival in the area. The stone wall near the center of the photograph was probably built by Mr. Letchworth. (see Ornamental Farm)
