This photograph was taken from near the bed of the Genesee Valley Canal looking south not long after the new Iron Bridge was built. Note the Canal and towpath on the left. A close up of that portion of the image show a canal boat being pulled by a mule! The Upper Falls is in the lower right hand corner.
