Mary Jemison Grave and Statue

This granite gravestone and statue marks the final resting place of Mary Jemison or Dehgewanus, "The White Woman of the Genesee". Mr. Letchworth erected the granite marker in the 1880's, and dedicated the statue in 1910. The iron fence protecting the grave was erected in the 1920's.
