Standing at the southern edge of Table Rock, a couple enjoy the splendor of the Lower Falls.

This early image of the Council Grounds was drawn shortly after the "Last Council Fire" was held. Visitors examine the King George Cannon with the Council House in the background. The memorial trees planted at the Council Fire are surrounded by protective fences.

Although not part of the original Glen Iris Estate, the Mt. Morris gorge or "High Banks" was also know for its natural beauty. This portion of the valley is now part of Letchworth Park.
